No, not a mammal, but an animal indeed. Walrus is an untamed, let loose beast of an agency lead by Deacon and Frances Webster. Though only Deacon was available to meet with us, his insight I'm sure was just as valuable. He gave my student group and I the opportunity to pick his brain about really anything regarding how to get our foot in the door of advertising.
Sadly we were not able to enter the work portion of the agency, I could almost see the steam seeping from each persons fingers and mice as they clicked, dragged and typed up new innovative ad's.
The work Walrus does is very, for lack of a better word, different. They take traditional ad methods such as banners and websites, and make them into fun and immersive games that pull the consumer in.
