U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A is all that has been shouted for the passed week. After 93 years, the Olympics finally welcomed back rugby back into the games. If you can't tell by the first three letters of the article, I was rooting for the USA team. Every tackle was performed with power and all the rucks were solid. I couldn't be more happy for the home team. Both men and women were absolutely stellar. Sadly, the teams did not do as well I wished, men making it as far as 9th place in the finals, and women making it as far as 5th place in the finals. This only means that they have 4 years to prepare for the next Olympics. I'm so excited!
In respect to the sport and personal fandom, I designed a logo for the event. I chose a font-based logo to incorporate "Rio2016" into the design. The goal was to make something that could be easily recognizable with the Rio Olympics and have the capability to be swapped with any other sport while still standing true to the event.
If you like the work, email me and I'll send over the .ai file. ***This logo is not for sale, only giving away.
